Spearfish High School is thrilled to announce the commencement ceremony for the Class of 2026!
Join us this weekend to celebrate the incredible achievements and bright futures of our graduating seniors.
📅Date: Saturday, May 23, 2026
🕒Time: 2:00 PM
🏫 Location: SHS Main Gymnasium

Information for Families & Guests:
⏰ Arrival: Doors open to the public at 12:30 PM. Please arrive early to find your seats.
🪑 Seating: General seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be additional seating in our Performing Arts Theater with a Live Stream of the ceremony.
🚗Parking: Guests may park in the main school lots.
💻Live Stream Information- Watch Online: Can't make it in person? The entire ceremony will be broadcast live on the Spearfish Spartans Network YouTube page so long-distance family and friends don't miss a moment!

Information for Graduates
🕒 Report Time: Graduates must arrive at the designated staging area by 1:15 PM sharp.
👗 Dress Code: Full cap and gown regalia are required.

Join us for a wonderful night of music! Our concert tonight features beautiful performances from our Freshmen Choir, Treble Choir, A Cappella, and Concert Choir.

We will close the evening with a spectacular combined choir piece and a special senior recognition ceremony to celebrate our graduating singers! 🎓✨

We are thrilled to welcome our students & their guests to this year’s Prom on Saturday, April 11th.
This evening is a highlight of the school year, designed to provide a safe, elegant, & celebratory environment for our school & community!
Event Schedule:
For students, parents, guardians, & family members looking to capture the moment to start the night:
✅ 6:15 PM | Early Arrival: Doors open at the Main Gym for professional and candid photos.
✅ 7:30–8:45 PM | The Grand March: Families are encouraged to attend & cheer on our students as they make their formal entrance in the Main Gym.
✅ 9-11 PM | The Dance: The celebration moves to the Commons! Students will enjoy a night of music and memories in a supervised, secure setting.

🎟 Visiting Students: Guests from other schools are welcome for a $25 fee. (Please ensure guest forms are completed in advance).

This is a reminder that all 11th-grade students will be taking the ACT Test tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31st.
⌚Time: 8:15 AM – 12:45 PM
📍Location: Report directly to your assigned testing rooms (check classroom doors for where to report!).

🚫 Late Policy: To maintain a quiet environment, classroom doors close at 9:00 AM.
Students arriving AFTER 9:00 AM cannot enter testing rooms and must leave campus.
Please plan accordingly!!
